Fine Grade Stone Base / Reclamation (FDR) Foreman / Superintendent

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to-

  • Lead crews in the completion of reclamation projects
  • Coordinate tasks for your crews according to project needs
  • Supervise the use of equipment
  • Train crew members on safe equipment use as needed.
  • Schedule daily work activities.
Requirements:
  • Familiar with all aspects of reclamation and chip seal
  • Production Oriented
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Mechanical knowledge of all equipment related to Full Depth Reclamation
  • Strong Communication/Leadership Skills
  • Promotes Safety
  • NC/SC certifications a plus
  • Understands grade and density
  • Positive Attitude
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Drug Free Workplace

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pageland, SC: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Qualifications:

We are currently looking for someone with extensive knowledge of spreadsheets, material takeoffs, ability to write letters or emails, and knowledge of scheduling programs is a plus.

Education/Experience:

4 year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
