Company History

Our Company’s History

In 1994, Chris and Drew Boggs purchased the Company from their late father Andy. Chris and Drew built the Company and by 2006 had added five asphalt plants and grown to over 500 employees.

In 2008, the Company opened its first aggregate materials quarry and sand mine. In 2010, the Company was a founding member of a joint venture called the Monroe Bypass Constructors which was awarded the Monroe Expressway Toll Road project and by 2019, the Monroe Expressway was completed at a total cost of approximately $500 million. In 2021, the Company commenced operations of its newest quarry called Alamance Aggregates and in 2022 we were awarded a contract to supply construction aggregates to a Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, North Carolina.

Then in September, 2023, we completed our rebrand under our name TrueRock Holdings, Inc. and we now manage our business under our four wholly owned subsidiaries: (i) True Rock Construction, LLC, (ii) True Rock Materials, LLC; (iii) TrueRock Logistics, LLC, and (iv) TrueRock Insurance, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.
